BROADWAY PARISH COUNCIL

BY CO-OPTION

The above Parish Council will consider filling by co-option the casual vacancies for a Councillor at its next meeting subject to receipt of an application.

Those who are interested in serving the community in this way and want to become a candidate for co-option should obtain an application form for candidacy from the Clerk or download it here. Completed application forms should be returned to the Clerk at least one week prior to the next Parish Council meeting.

Information on eligibility, the role of the Parish Council and its schedule of meetings may be obtained from the Clerk and/or the Chairman.

NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR

BROADWAY PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

that a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.

If by 24 November, 2025 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.

If an election is called, it will take place not later than 30 January, 2026.
